Mehdi Yarmohammadi has a master’s degree in Dramatic Literature from Soore university. He is the founder of the Khorshid International Experimental Independent Film Festival and has been in charge of managing of seven festivals since 2011. He has been a member of the Asia-Pacific Cinema Promotion Network (NETPAC) since 2017. Research and interdisciplinary studies of performance art, cinema, aesthetics, relativity, narrative, philosophy, deconstruction and phenomenology are his special interests, and he tries to present the results of his studies, experiences, and ideas in the form of articles and books, workshops, training courses and creating works of art.
